Maximum noise levels inside the vehicle:
‐ Moving vehicle, at 80km/hr constant speed 73 dBA
‐ Stationary vehicle, one auxiliary operating 69 dBA
‐ Stationary vehicle, all auxiliary operating 70 dBA
‐ Stationary vehicle, door operating 78 dBA
‐ Leq (6 hours equivalent continuous sound level) inside the driver cab 75 dBA
Maximum noise levels outside the vehicle:
When the car is operating in open, dry, level tangent ballasted track, measurement shall
be taken at 7.5 m distance from the track centerline, 1.5 m above the top of the rail.

Fire Reaction:
‐ The vehicle will operate in tunnel sections, therefore material to be used on the
vehicle shall comply with standards necessary for tunnel operations.
‐ Standards to be applied shall be DIN 5510 or equivalent as EN 45545.
‐ The use of asbestos, lead based pigment paints, lead, urethane foam,
polystyrene and viton rubber is not allowed.
‐ All textile and upholstery materials shall conform to the appropriate
flammability tests as laid down in the agreed standard.
‐ Unprotected absorbent materials shall not be used for such purposes as
insulation in situations where they may become contaminated with flammable
liquids.
The consequent Hazard Level classification is: HL2.
